Soton have started the season very well and deserved to beat us.
We wouodve beaten spurs if nobes had scored his pen
Great performance and win at palace.
Played some cracking stuff at hull and kept going to try win the game right up till last min where we were fucking unlucky dawson cleared.
Playing some lovely football so far no hoofing or playing for 0 0
Sam was told to change tactics and he clearly has.
Monday night was old school fuck ups at the back but keep attacking going for the win.
Very odd supporters whining at 0 0 or 1 0 wins last season now fucking whining at 2 2s

The only time West Ham will have a relatively easy start is in the Championship, the PL happens to contain the countries best 20 teams and West Ham have never been in the top quarter regularly enough to warrant any sort easy start.
Relatively West Ham can only expect to do well against those three teams who have just come up from the Championship and even then it would be at home. Other than that it's an even match at the start against fellow established sides.

Southampton's summer income from sold players was the highest in Europe yet they still seem to be a cracking outfit !
They totally out played us at home.

Don't agree woody, Southampton were clearly better on the day. We could have got more from the Spurs and Hull games though.

First 3 games should all have been 3 points. Hull away on a Monday night with Hull making loads of new signings was never going to be easy.
Drew was a decent result...a good drew as well if that makes sense.

In a parallel world we'd have been sitting on seven points now. That is the world where Noble scored his penalty against Spurs and where Creswell/Koyote did not set up Diame for Hull.

I think we need a better goalkeeper, not that he was necessarily to blame directly for our goals conceded, I just think someone with more authority would help the defence overall.

I think it's brilliant, hopefully we won't be hearing cunt chops bleating about 12,13 or 14 clean sheets this season....... Though I'm sure at every opportunity he will refer back to last seasons 14

The only way to mitigate this is to either get better defenders who are quicker, read the game and make less mistakes or tighten up and commit less players forward.

at the risk of repeating myself- most of our goals conceded have fuck all to do with be"playfull"
examples :-
southampton first two goals ( set pieces- supposed to be our speciality)
both goals Monday- no pressure on the ball/slow jump/ & crap throw and no-one putting a tackle in...
